ACO Accreditation Test Results |
The user role will change immediately once test results are received by PCIT. NOTE: A score of 80% is a passing score.
ACO Candidate A PCIT user can only be updated to ACO when a candidate has passed the accreditation test. If the candidate fails the test three consecutive times, the user must wait a year before taking the test again. When a candidate passes the accreditation test and the regulatory experience is more than a year, the role is updated to ACO. An alert is sent via a link to the Accreditation Messages box to the ECS and original submitter; the Candidate receives a message in their Messages box. When a candidate passes the accreditation test and the regulatory experience is less than a year an alert is sent via a link to the Accreditation Messages box to the ECS and original submitter. The alert states that the candidate passed the test and the role will be updated to ACO once the user has one year of experience. ACO A copy of the reaccreditation course is available at all times. Pass results will trigger calculation of a new accreditation expiration date. Once the ACO passes the test, the actual training and assessment are not available again until six months before the ACO's new expiration date. Final determination of an ACO's status will be reached in one of two cases: they have taken the assessment and passed, or they have failed all three assessment attempts. When an ACO has failed the test three times, they are demoted from an ACO to an ACO Admin. Demoted ACO Admin PCIT will track a “retraining” date for a demoted ACO Admin. The retraining date is the date that the reaccreditation course will be available again to the ACO Admin. It will be calculated as follows:
When the training system communicates a passed test result for a demoted ACO Admin, PCIT will reinstate the user as an ACO (as long as they have not failed all three tests). See Also
