Your eAuthenication/Login.gov User ID is not linked to a PCIT User Account until you successfully choose one of the following options.
NOTE: You only need to do this once.
OPTION 1: If your industry (applicant) organization does not have a PCIT account, and you want to be the administrator for a new industry organization in PCIT, then complete the following steps:
1. | On the PCIT Login page after successful eAuthentication/Login.gov, click Register External Organization.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard - User Information page appears. |
2. | Enter your first, middle initial, and last name, phone number and click Next.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard - Choose a Path page appears. |
3. | Select the Join as Existing Organization Account with PCIT and click Next.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard - Join Existing Organization page displays. |
4. | To join into the organization, you must enter the Unique PIN assigned to you by your organization administrator and click Join. |
NOTE: The Unique PIN is used one time and in the future you will login to PCIT using only your eAuthentication/Login.gov user credentials.
OPTION 2: If your organization administrator has provided you with a Unique PIN, then complete the following steps.
1. | On the PCIT Login page after successful login, enter the Unique PIN that the Org Admin provided to you and click the Join button.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard –Join Confirmation page appears. |
2. | Verify the organization that you are about to join and click Confirm.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard – Join Successful page appears. |
3. | Click Continue to start using PCIT.
RESULT: The PCIT Home page appears with your name/company in the upper right corner of the Welcome page. |
NOTE: Once a user is added to an organization, the Org Admin is notified that the user has joined the organization’s account. The user name and a reminder to update the user’s permissions are displayed under the Messages section of the Welcome page.
