Join an Existing Organization

Your eAuthenication/Login.gov User ID is not linked to a PCIT User Account until you successfully choose one of the following options.

NOTE:  You only need to do this once.

 

OPTION 1:  If your industry (applicant) organization does not have a PCIT account, and you want to be the administrator for a new industry organization in PCIT, then complete the following steps:

1.On the PCIT Login page after successful eAuthentication/Login.gov, click Register External Organization.
RESULT:  The Registration Wizard - User Information page appears.
2.Enter your first, middle initial, and last name, phone number and click Next.
RESULT:  The Registration Wizard - Choose a Path page appears.
3.Select the Join as Existing Organization Account with PCIT and click Next.
RESULT: The Registration Wizard - Join Existing Organization page displays.
4.To join into the organization, you must enter the Unique PIN assigned to you by your organization administrator and click Join.

NOTE:  The Unique PIN is used one time and in the future you will login to PCIT using only your eAuthentication/Login.gov user credentials.

 

OPTION 2:  If your organization administrator has provided you with a Unique PIN, then complete the following steps.

1.On the PCIT Login page after successful login, enter the Unique PIN that the Org Admin provided to you and click the Join button.
RESULT:  The Registration Wizard –Join Confirmation page appears.
2.Verify the organization that you are about to join and click Confirm.
RESULT:  The Registration Wizard – Join Successful page appears.
3.Click Continue to start using PCIT.
RESULT:  The PCIT Home page appears with your name/company in the upper right corner of the Welcome page.

 

NOTE: Once a user is added to an organization, the Org Admin is notified that the user has joined the organization’s account.  The user name and a reminder to update the user’s permissions are displayed under the Messages section of the Welcome page.
