Manage Exporters

Creating a list of exporters allows anyone in your organization to select an exporter from a list when creating an application eliminating the need to type the exporter information for each application.  You may add, update, or delete exporters at any time.

To add or update exporter information, complete the following steps:

 

1.Click the Manage Template Data link, then click the Manage Exporters link.
RESULT:  The Manage Exporters page appears.

 

2.To update an exporter, click the corresponding Update button located to the right of the exporter name whose information you want to update.
RESULT: The Exporter Details page appears with the existing exporter information displayed.
a)Update the exporter information as needed.
b)Click the Cancel button.  The Manage Exporters page appears and no edits have been saved.
c)Click the Save & Back button to save your change and return back to the Manage Exporters page.
d)Click the Save & Add Another button to save your change and to open a blank Export Details page.

 

3.To delete an exporter, select the corresponding checkbox and click the Delete Selected button.  You can also use the Select All link.
RESULT:  The list reappears with the deleted exporter removed.

 

4.To add a new exporter, click the Add Exporter button.
RESULT:  The Exporter Details page appears.
a)Please enter the required information for an exporter.
NOTE: If the exporter alias name is empty, the first 40 characters from the exporter name will be copied to it on save.
b)Exporter Name:  This is a required field.  Name of the exporter as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates.
a)Exporter Alias Name:  This name will be used as a more specific identifier for your organization’s use; for example, if exporter name is Dole, exporter alias could be Dole-La Jolla.  This is an optional field.
b)Exporter Contact Person:  Name of the contact person for the exporter.  This is an optional field.
c)Street Address:  This is a required field.  The exporter’s address as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates. If necessary, two lines have been provided.
d)City:  This is a required field.  City associated with the exporter’s address as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates.
e)State/Territory:  This is a required field.  Select the state drop-down list to view the states and territories available and select the state or territory of the exporter’s address from the list.
f)Zip Code:  This is a required field.  The five- or nine-digit Zip code of the exporter’s address as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates.
g)Country:  This field is pre-populated with:  USA.
h)Phone:  The exporter’s 10-digit telephone number, area code first. You may also enter an extension if needed.  This is an optional field.
i)Fax:  The exporter’s fax number.  This is an optional field.
j)E-mail:  The exporter’s e-mail address.  This is an optional field.
k)Click the Cancel button.  The Manage Exporters page appears and no edits have been saved.
l)Click the Save & Back button to save your change and return back to the Manage Exporters page.
m)Click the Save & Add Another button to save your change and to open a blank Export Details page.
