Manage Industry Organization

PCIT Admins can manage Industry Organizations by performing the following actions:

 

Search for the Industry Organization by organization name, ID, or user's last name.
Convert the Organization's Shell Account.
View or edit Industry Organization information (such as the Organization/Company Name, Street Address, City, State/Territory, Zip Code, or Phone Number).
Display Authorized Nursery Representatives and Agreement Numbers for a quick reference.
Organize members already present or add a new member to the Organization.
Grant or deny administrative privileges, delete accounts, or look up personal identification numbers.
Change an organization status to active or inactive.

 

To manage an Industry organization, complete the following steps:

 

1.Select the PCIT Administration link from the left menu.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration page appears.

 

2.Select Mange Organizations from the Select Reference Data Function drop-down list.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Manage Organizations page appears.

 

3.Select Manage Industry Organization from the Select A Function drop-down list.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Industry Organization Management page appears.

 

4.Search by organization name, organization ID, or user's last name to locate an Industry Organization.  Wildcard searches are allowed.
RESULT:  The Primary Location, Name, Account Balance, and if you can convert to a Shell Account are displayed.

 

5.To convert the organization to a Shell Account, click the Convert Org. button.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Convert Shell Accounts page appears.  Click the Yes or No button to confirm if you want to change the applicant organization to a non-shell account.  You will be given the PIN for the Organization Administrator of the account.

 

6.To view or edit an organization's profile, click the View/Edit button.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Manage Organization Profile page appears.

 

7.Review the organization profile information and list of members.  You may update the profile of the organization, grant or remove members' administrative privileges, add and delete members from the organization, view PIN's, or remove CID's.

 

8.You can update the Organization Status to "Active" or "Inactive" by selecting the appropriate option.  Once "Inactive" is selected, the organization becomes locked and members of the organization can no longer log in to the system and a message is displayed.

 

NOTE:  The Look Up PIN button will only show if they have no CID bound in PCIT.  The Remove CID button will only show if their eAuth/Login.gov ID is linked to their PCIT account.

 

9.To look up an organization's PIN, click the Look Up PIN button.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Industry Organization Management page reappears and displays the organization's PIN.

 

10.To add a new member, click the Add Member to Organization button on the bottom of the PCIT Administration - Manage Organization Profile page.
RESULT:  The PCIT Administration - Add Member page displays.

 

NOTE: PCIT is organization-based, in that all members of an organization have access to the same templates, exporters, consignees, and available funds to create and submit phytosanitary applications.

 

11.Enter the required information to add a member to your organization/company.  Create or generate a PIN that the user will enter to join your organization and click the Save button.

 

12.  After creating the new member account, please provide the Unique PIN to the new member.
