PCIT Certificate Viewer

You can search for and view a 577 and 579 Phytosanitary Certificate that was issued within PCIT without needing to log into the PCIT application.

NOTE:  You may need to turn off your browser’s popup blocker for this site to use the PCIT Certificate Viewer.

To view a certificate without logging into the PCIT application, complete the following steps:

1.Connect to PCIT using the Web address: https://pcit.aphis.usda.gov/pcit/.
RESULT:  The Log In page displays.

 

2.At the bottom of the screen, click the PCIT Certificate Viewer link.
RESULT:  The Search for a Certificate page appears.

 

3.Complete the required fields of the Search for a Certificate page as follows:
NOTE:   All required fields must be complete in order to view a certificate.

 

a)Certificate Number:  The number listed on the certificate.
b)Date Issued:  The date the certificate was issued.  You can click the calendar to select the appropriate date.
c)Place of Issue:  The name of the State where the certificate was issued.  You can select the State from the drop-down list.
d)Security Check:  An addition or subtraction mathematical problem will be displayed. Enter the answer in the empty box provided.
e)Click the Clear button to clear the search fields.
f)Click the View Certificate Data button to view the certificate.
RESULT: The Certificate Detail Screen appears with details of the certificate including commodity and additional declaration details. You can then click the View Certificate button on the top left corner to view the portable document format (PDF).  If the certificate was replaced or voided, the certificate PDF will display a watermark of “Void”.

Note: You also need a PDF viewer (e.g.: Adobe Reader) application installed on your mobile device in order to view the certificate in PDF format (i.e.: using the View Certificate button).
