Shared Certificate Information for Split Certificates

On the Shared Certificate Information page, you can select from 2 to 5 certificates to split into by selecting the appropriate number in the Number of Certificates to Split Into drop-down list.  The Shared Certificate Information is displayed.  The default Applicant, Exporter, and Consignee information is inherited from the original certificate.

The Exporter and Consignee drop-down lists will be populated with the selected applicant’s and the ACO’s exporters and consignees.  The Requested Issuing Duty Station drop-down list will include the ACO’s associated duty stations.

For Applicant users, the Exporter and Consignee drop-down lists will be populated with the applicant’s exporters and consignees.  The Requested Issuing Duty Station drop-down list will include all duty stations.

NOTE:  New exporters and consignees can be added to the drop-down lists.

Once you have updated the Split and Shared Information, click the Next button.
NOTE:  Once you click the Next button you can only increase the number of certificates to split into from the previous Split Wizard – Shared Certificate Information page.  Increasing the number will generate additional certificates.  You will be able to decrease the number of certificates requested on a following screen.
RESULT:  The Split Wizard – Individual Certificate Information page appears.

NOTE:  Form 579 Phytosanitary Certificate for Reexport, State, and Nursery certificates; as well as certificates with multiple units or package descriptions are not eligible for the split process.  Also, a split option is not available for certificates with 'Other' as the Unit of Measure.
