Template Details Page Overview for PPQ 578

1.Complete the identified fields of the Template Details page as follows:
a)Template Name:  This is a required field.  Enter the name of the template as you wish it to appear in the list of templates.
b)Template Type:  Automatically displays as "578 Application".
c)Exporter:  The name of the Exporter associated with the template.  This is an optional field.   Click the Add button to add a new exporter.
d)Consignee:  Name of the Consignee associated with the template.  This is an optional field.  Click the Add button to add a new consignee.
e)Requested Issuing Duty Station:  The selected duty station to process the application associated with the template.  This is an optional field.
f)Declared Means Of Conveyance From Port Of Export: The means of conveyance from the port of export associated with the template.  If you select “other,” you must enter additional information.  This is an optional field.
g)If Other, More Details:  Free text area where you can enter additional information.
h)Point Of Entry:  The location at which the commodity will enter the foreign country.  This is an optional field.
i)Products:  The products associated with the template.  The Details button is used to view and edit commodities in the template.

 

2.Click the Details button to enter commodity details to be saved in this template.
RESULT:  The Template Product Details page appears.

 

3. Click the Add Product button to add a product to this template.
RESULT:  The Product Details page appears.

4.Enter the product details by completing the following fields:
a)Select the Processed Product from the drop-down list.
b)Click the Add/Update Commodity button to search for a commodity and add commodities as needed.
c)Select the Unit from the drop-down list.
d)Enter text as needed in the If Other, More Details field.  
e)Enter the Product Description.
f)Enter the Identification.
g)You can update the Certified Origin(s) by clicking the Add/Edit Multiple Origins button as needed.
RESULT:  The Additional Commodity Origins page appears.  If the certified origin country is USA, you may enter locality, locality descriptor and state details, otherwise leave these fields blank.

 

5.Review the template information and make any necessary corrections.  To save the template, click the Save button.  Click the Save button a second time to return to the Manage Application Templates page.
