Update Transaction Commodities

Use this screen to identify commodity data updates to be run overnight. In the first section, select the user-entered commodities that need to be updated. In the second section, select the replacement data from the commodity reference table. Once both selections are complete, click Save to store the information for the overnight update.

1. Select the PCIT Administration link from the left menu.

RESULT:  The PCIT Administration page appears.

2. Select Update Transaction Commodities from the Select Reference Data Function drop-down list.

RESULT:  The Update Transaction Commodities page appears.

3. In the Transaction Commodities Section, enter the commodity name that needs to be updated and Click Search.

RESULT:  The List of Transaction Commodities data is displayed.

4. Select the transaction commodities to be updated.

RESULT:  A checkmark displays next to each selected commodity.

NOTE:  Click Selected All to select all commodities.

5. In the Commodities Section, enter the reference commodity name that will be used to update the selected transaction commodity(ties) and Click Search.

RESULT:  The List of Commodities data is displayed.

6. Select the desired commodity.

RESULT:  The word ‘Selected’ displays next to the selected reference commodity.

7. Click Save.

RESULT:  The Confirmation page appears displaying the selected reference commodity and transaction commodity(ies) to be updated.

8. Click No/Yes for the updates.

RESULT: If yes, the Update Transaction Commodities page appears with success message.

              If No, the Update Transaction Commodities page appears with earlier selections.
