An application template simplifies creating a new application by reusing existing information, such as exporters and commodities. You may add, update, or delete application templates at any time.
If you have no templates listed or you would like to have additional templates available when creating applications, complete the following steps:
1. | To manage application templates, select the Manage Template Data link at the left side of the screen.
RESULT: The Manage Application Templates page appears with a table displaying available templates. The information includes Template Name, Template Type, Exporter, and Consignee. |
2. | To start a new application based on a template, click the corresponding Start New App button.
RESULT: The Select Your Certificate Type page appears and begins the Application Step by Step Process. Refer to Certificate Type for further details. |
3. | To update a template, click the corresponding Update button.
RESULT: The Template Details page appears with the existing template information displayed. |
a) | Please enter details to be saved in this template. |
b) | Click the Save to save the information and return to the list of templates. |
c) | Click the Cancel button to abandon your changes and return to the list of templates.

4. | To delete a template, select the corresponding checkbox and click the Delete Selected button. You can also use the Select All link.
RESULT: The list reappears with the deleted exporter removed. |
5. | To create a PPQ 577, PPQ 579, or State Certificate Template, click the Create Standard Template button.
RESULT: The Template Details page appears. Refer to the Template Details Page Overview topic for details. |
