Manage Consignees

Creating a list of consignees allows anyone in your organization to select a consignee from a list when creating an application eliminating the need to type the consignee information for each application.  You may add, update, or delete consignees at any time.

To add or update consignee information, complete the following steps:

 

1.Click the Manage Template Data link, then click the Manage Consignees link.
RESULT:  The Manage Consignees page appears.

 

2.To update a consignee, click the corresponding Update button located to the right of the consignee name whose information you want to update.
RESULT: The Consignee Details page appears with the existing consignee information displayed.
a)Update the consignee information as needed.
b)Click the Cancel button.  The Manage Consignees page appears and no edits have been saved.
c)Click the Save & Back button to save your change and return back to the Manage Consignees page.
d)Click the Save & Add Another button to save your change and to open a blank Export Consignees page.

 

3.To delete a consignee, select the corresponding checkbox and click the Delete Selected button.  You can also use the Select All link.
RESULT:  The list reappears with the deleted consignee removed.

 

4.To add a new consignee, click the Add Consignee button.
RESULT:  The Consignee Details page appears.
a)Please enter the required information for a consignee.
NOTE: If the consignee alias name is empty, the first 40 characters from the consignee name will be copied to it on save.
a)Consignee Name:  This is a required field.  Name of the consignee as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates.
b)Consignee Alias Name:  This name will be used as a more specific identifier for your organization’s use; for example, consignee name is Dole, consignee alias could be Dole-La Jolla.  This is an optional field.
c)Consignee Contact Person Name: Name of the contact person for the consignee.  This is an optional field.
d)Street Address:  The consignee’s address as you wish it to appear on applications and certificates.  If necessary, two lines have been provided.  This is an optional field.
e)City:  This is a required field.  The corresponding city.
f)State/Territory/Province:  The corresponding state, territory, or province.  This is an optional field.
g)Postal Code:  The postal code for the consignee’s address as appropriate.  This is an optional field.
NOTE:  If the country protocol requires that the postal code appears above the city on the certificate, use the second line of the address for this information.
h)Country:  This is a required field.  The country for this application.
i)Phone:  Consignee’s telephone number.  This is an optional field.
j)Fax:  The consignee’s fax number.  This is an optional field.
k)E-mail:  The consignee’s primary e-mail address.  This is an optional field.
l)Click the Cancel button.  The Manage Consignees page appears and no edits have been saved.
m)Click the Save & Back button to save your change and return back to the Manage Consignees page.
n)Click the Save & Add Another button to save your change and to open a blank Export Consignees page.
