Print Wizard

The Print Wizard allows you to print copies of Phytosanitary Applications (PPQ 572), Phytosanitary Certificates (PPQ 577/579), and State Certificates.  

 

Once you are logged on to PCIT, you may print at any time.  Access the Print Wizard from the left menu and/or from the Messages box on the Welcome page
RESULT:  The Print Wizard page appears.

 

Details on how to print a specific item are listed below:

 

Application

To print an Application, complete the following steps:

1.In the Select a Form Type to Print drop-down list, select 572-Application for Federal or State Phytosanitary Certificate.
2.In the Locate By field, enter a Date Range, or enter either the Tracking Number or Certificate Number.
3.Click the Show Results button.  The Reset button clears the search fields.
RESULT:  The information meeting your search criteria displays in a table.  The information includes the Tracking Number, Applicant, Shipment Date, and Status.
4.You can filter the results by using the Filter Results By Status drop-down list.
5.To print a specific application, check the corresponding check box(es).  You can also use the Select All link to print all of the forms displayed in the table.
6.Click the Generate Application PDF button.
RESULT:  A new window opens and the application displays in portable document format (PDF).

 

Certificate Copy

To print a Certificate Copy, complete the following steps:

1.In the Select a Form Type to Print drop-down list, select 577-Phytosanitary Certificate, 579-Phytosanitary Certificate for Reexport, or any of the State Certificates.
2.In the Print Type field, select Copy.
3.In the Locate By field, select a Duty Station from the drop-down list, and enter a Date Range, or enter either a Tracking Number or Certificate Number.
4.Click the Show Results button.  The Reset button clears the search fields.
RESULT:  The information meeting your search criteria displays in a table.  The information includes the Certificate Number, Applicant, Issued Date, Authorized Officer, and Status.
5.You can filter the results by using the Filter Results By Status drop-down list.
6.To print a specific certificate, check the corresponding check box(es).  You can also use the Select All link to print all of the forms displayed in the table.
7.Click the Generate Certificate Copy button.
RESULT:  A new window opens and the certificate copy displays.

 

Original Certificate

To print an Original Certificate, complete the following steps:

1.In the Select a Form Type to Print drop-down list, select 577-Phytosanitary Certificate, 579-Phytosanitary Certificate for Reexport, or any of the State Certificates.
2.In the Print Type field, select Original.
3.In the Locate By field, select a Duty Station from the drop-down list, and enter a Date Range, or enter either a Tracking Number or Certificate Number.
4.Click the Show Results button.  The Reset button clears the search fields.
RESULT:  The information meeting your search criteria displays in a table.  The information includes the Certificate Number, Applicant, Issued Date, Authorized Officer, and Status.
5.You can filter the results by using the Filter Results By Status drop-down list.
6.To print a specific certificate, check the corresponding check box(es).  You can also use the Select All link to print all of the forms displayed in the table.
RESULT:  The selected certificates are ready for printing.
7.Review the following steps to process and print the selected certificates:
a)You can optionally change the Authorized Officer name that is printed on the certificate by selecting a name for the Authorized Officer drop-down box.  To select Unknown, leave this field blank.
b)To print the original certificate, click the Generate Certificate PDF button.
NOTE:  It may take a few minutes to generate the PDF depending on the number of selected certificates.
RESULT:  A new window opens and the certificate(s) display.
c)If the certificate(s) printed correctly, click the Printed button.
NOTE: This is a REQUIRED step.

 

Authorized Applicant Users

If you have signed a Printing Agreement, you will receive notification on your homepage when certificates are ready for printing.

To print an Original Certificate, complete the following steps:

1.Locate the applications ready to be printed using the link in your Messages box on the Welcome page.
RESULT:  The Print Wizard page appears with a table displaying the certificates.  The information includes the Certificate Number, Applicant, Issued Date, Authorized Officer, and Status.
2.To print a specific certificate, check the corresponding check box(es).  You can also use the Select All link to print all of the certificates displayed in the table.
RESULT:  The selected certificates are ready for printing.
3.Review the following steps to process and print the selected certificates.
a)To print the original certificate, click the Generate Certificate PDF button.
NOTE:  It may take a few minutes to generate the PDF depending on the number of selected certificates.
RESULT:  A new window opens and the certificate(s) display.
b)If the certificate(s) printed correctly, click the Printed button.
NOTE: This is a REQUIRED step.
