Add/Update AD Group Templates

To add or update an Additional Declarations Group Template, complete the following steps:

1.	Select the Update Country Information link from the menu at the left side of the screen.

2.	Select the country you would like to update information on.

3.	You can either select Country-Specific Data on the Update Country Information page or select the Country-Specific Data link from the menu at the left side of the screen. RESULT: The Country-Specific Data page appears.

4.	Click the Additional Declarations link. RESULT: The Update Additional Declarations page displays.

Select Option 2: To add or update an Additional Declarations Group template, click the Add/Update AD Group Templates button. This option will allow you to create new or edit existing groupings. Updates will cascade to all Commodity Summaries using the selected group template.
RESULT: The Update Additional Declarations Groups Templates page appears.

When adding new Additional Declarations Groups, the entries will be displayed in the in the Group Template table. You can also edit an existing AD grouping by clicking its corresponding Edit button. These AD groupings will be available during the adding/updating of Commodity Summaries. Any updates to Additional Declarations Groups will be cascaded to the commodity summaries that use that group template.

7.	To add a group template, click the Add Group button. RESULT: The Additional Declarations Group Template Builder page appears with STEP 1: Add Additional Declarations.

8.	To add a standard Additional Declaration (AD) from the list, select the corresponding checkbox(es) and click the Add Selected Standard AD(s) button. You can also customize an existing standard Additional Declaration by clicking its corresponding Edit button, which will populate text area below.

9.	To add a custom Additional Declaration, enter text in the text area below, then click the Add Custom Additional Declaration button.

Click the Harmful Organisms Selection Tool button to insert scientific harmful organism names from the country's list of known harmful organisms. Using the tool also maintains the association with the harmful organism reference data so updates to the reference data will be reflected in the Additional Declaration.
RESULT: A new page opens and you can select one or more harmful organism types and click the Add button to automatically populate the additional declarations with the selected organisms.

11.	To save the custom AD as a standard AD for this country, select the Add to Master List checkbox.

The Selected Additional Declarations table lists the Additional Declarations that you entered. You can delete any that you do not need, or proceed to order and group these ADs by clicking the Next button.
RESULT: The Additional Declarations Group Template Builder page appears with STEP 2: Group Additional Declarations.

All current ADs for the group template are listed. You can use the up and down arrows to reorder the ADs and the right and left arrows to indent ADs that you wish to group.
NOTE: AD group levels are incremented one level at a time. AD groups can be indented up to five levels to allow for complex nesting of ADs. AD text color changes as ADs are indented or un-indented to make the grouping more visible during editing. These colors will not be displayed to end users. You can click the link to see an example of an AD with different group levels.

14.	Use the And/Or drop-down to specify which ADs are required within a group and as well as which AD groups are required.

15.	You can preview the AD by clicking the Preview Layout button.

16.	Enter a title in the Group Template Name field and click the Save button.
