Standard Documentation Requirement

To add or remove a Standard Documentation Requirement (SDR), complete the following steps:

1.Search for an existing commodity summary to update.  On the Commodity Summary page, enter the Commodity and select a Part from the drop-down list, then click the Search button.
RESULT:  The commodity summary that meets the search criteria will appear below the search text.
NOTE:  Commodities listed in red italics are incomplete Commodity Summaries (missing required elements) and are unavailable for users to view.
2.To edit a Commodity Summary, click its corresponding Edit button.
RESULT:  The Add/Update Commodity Summary page appears.

 

3.You can either click the Next button or select the Standard Documentation Requirement link from the menu at the left side of the screen.
RESULT:  The Standard Documentation Requirement page appears.
 
4.Select a Standard Documentation Requirement (SDR) by clicking the corresponding radio button.
NOTE: SDRs listed in red italics do not allow for Treatments and Additional Declarations to be entered into the commodity summary.
5.Click the Next button to proceed.
RESULT:  The Treatments page displays the current treatments that apply to the commodity summary.
6.You can click the Previous or Next buttons or another of the Commodity Summary links to continue updating the Commodity Summary.

NOTE: At any time while managing information used to build commodity summaries you can use the following buttons located at the top of the page:
 Cancel Changes & Exit
 Save
 Preview
 Exit
 Mark Complete & Exit
