To update or add a treatment, complete the following steps:
| 1. | Search for an existing commodity summary to update. On the Commodity Summary page, enter the Commodity and select a Part from the drop-down list, then click the Search button.
RESULT: The commodity summary that meets the search criteria will appear below the search text.
NOTE: Commodities listed in red italics are incomplete Commodity Summaries (missing required elements) and are unavailable for users to view. |
| 2. | To edit a Commodity Summary, click its corresponding Edit button.
RESULT: The Add/Update Commodity Summary page appears. |
| 3. | You can either click the Next button or select the Treatments link from the menu at the left side of the screen.
NOTE: If using the Next button you may need to continue clicking until the desired page appears.
RESULT: The Treatments page appears and displays the current treatments which apply to the selected commodity summary. |
| 4. | To edit these treatments or add new ones, click the Edit button.
RESULT: The Treatments page redisplays and you enter any instructions needed to accompany the treatments. |
| 5. | Enter instructions in the Treatment Instructions box. |
| 6. | Select a treatment from the list by selecting a treatment group and clicking the Add Selected Treatments button. In the Filter Treatment List box, you can narrow the results of existing treatments by selecting the Treatment Type and/or Chemical (Active Ingredient) to display. |
| 7. | If the treatment is not listed, you may enter it under the Add Treatment section. |
| a) | Under the Add Treatment section, select the Treatment Group, Treatment Type, and Chemical from the drop-down lists. |
| b) | Enter the concentration, temperature, and duration information. |
| c) | You can also add free text in the Comments box. |
| d) | To save the treatment as a standard treatment for this country, check the Add to Master List box.
NOTE: If selected, this treatment will be saved as a standard treatment for this country. |
| e) | Click the Add Treatment button.
RESULT: The new treatment displays under the Selected Treatments section. |
| 8. | Review your selected treatments under the Selected Treatments section. Treatment group tables will be separated with the text 'AND' on the Commodity Summary. |
| 9. | When complete, click the Save button.
RESULT: The updated information displays. Treatment group tables will be separated with the text 'AND'. |
| 10. | You can click the Previous or Next buttons or another of the Commodity Summary links to continue updating the Commodity Summary. |
NOTE: At any time while managing information used to build commodity summaries you can use the following buttons located at the top of the page:

Preview
Exit
Mark Complete & Exit
