Update Harmful Organisms

Harmful Organisms includes a list of injurious pests as specified by the importing country. Information will also be used in the creation of the additional declarations within the country's Commodity Summaries. Information will be viewable to all PExD users.

These harmful organisms are accessed from the View Country Information page. They will also be available during the adding/updating of additional declarations within Commodity Summaries.

To select a harmful organism associated with a country(ies), complete the following steps:

1.	Select the Update Country Information link from the menu at the left side of the screen.

2.	Select the country you would like to update information on.

3.	You can either select Country-Specific Data on the Update Country Information page or select the Country-Specific Data link from the menu at the left side of the screen. RESULT: The Country-Specific Data page appears.

4.	Click the Harmful Organisms link. RESULT: The Update Harmful Organisms page displays.

Select the harmful organisms associated with the country(ies) by clicking the corresponding checkbox. Use the tabs to view by harmful organism type (for example, Bacteria, Fungi, Insects & Mites, and so forth). To narrow the results, you can also search for the organism by selecting the appropriate letter from the First Letter of Organism Name drop-down box.

6.	Click the Save button. RESULT: The harmful organisms are checked and the Country-Specific Data page reappears.

7.	To cancel your changes, click the Cancel button. RESULT: The Country-Specific Data page reappears.
