Update Notes to PIM Staff

Notes to Phytosanitary Issues Management (PIM) Staff will only be displayed to this page for the specified country. PExD users will not be able to view these notes and only administrators with access to this page can view and edit these notes.

When updating country specific data, administrators may add or update notes to the PIM staff on the Notes to PIM Staff page. Notes are linked to Additional Information in Commodity Summaries. Only notes that are active will be displayed on the commodity summary. Administrators may add one or more notes for a selected country.

To update notes to PIM Staff, completing the following steps:

1.	Select the Update Country Information link from the menu at the left side of the screen.

2.	Select the country you would like to update information on.

3.	You can either select Country-Specific Data on the Update Country Information page or select the Country-Specific Data link from the menu at the left side of the screen. RESULT: The Country-Specific Data page appears.

4.	Click the Notes to PIM Staff link. RESULT: The Notes to PIM Staff page displays.

5.	Under the Additional Notes section, add, edit, or delete notes for individual countries or groups. Notes may be formatted.

NOTE: Notes added on the Notes to PIM Staff page will appear on a drop-down list at the bottom of the Additional Information page. Administrators may add notes to a commodity summary by selecting from the drop-down list. PIM notes beginning with ++ are not active and will only appear on the commodity summary when activated.

6.	To add a note, enter text in the text box. To make the note active, check the Active checkbox.

7.	To edit a note, click the Edit button, make any updates in the text box.

8.	To delete one or more notes, select the corresponding checkbox(es) and click the Delete Selected button.

9.	Click the Save button. RESULT: The following confirmation message displays upon saving: PIM Notes saved successfully.
