Update Part Grouping

You can define part groupings to be used in creating commodity summaries.  The part groups are used to select more than one part at a time when creating Commodity Summaries.

 

To add, edit, or delete a part grouping, complete the following steps:

1.Select the Update Country Information link from the menu at the left side of the screen.
2.Select the country you would like to update information on.
3.You can either select Country-Specific Data on the Update Country Information page or select the Country-Specific Data link from the menu at the left side of the screen.
RESULT:  The Country-Specific Data page appears.
4.Click the Part Grouping link.
RESULT:  The Update Part Grouping page displays.
5.When adding new part groups, the entries will be displayed in the table.
a)In the Group Name box, enter the group name.
b)In the Part box, select up to 25 parts using the corresponding check box(es).
c)Click the Save button.
RESULT:  The entries display in the table.

 

6.You can edit an existing group by clicking its corresponding Edit button.
RESULT:  The part group displays under the Add/Edit Group heading.  Update the information as needed and click the Save button.

 

7.To cancel your edits, click the Cancel Edit button.
RESULT:  The Update Part Grouping page reappears with the Add/Edit Group information blank.

 

8.To delete a part group, select the corresponding checkbox you wish to delete, or click the Select All link.  Click the Delete Selected button.  Then click the Save button.
RESULT:  The entries will be removed from the table.
